White Grass Ocean Resort (Tanna)

White Grass Ocean Resort is the ‘upmarket’ choice of accommodation on Tanna for couples and is on the airport side of the island. White Grass gives you a welcome drink five minutes after arriving and is handy for departures.

The bungalows are comfortable with en suites (there are honeymoon bungalows), there’s a swimming pool and you can watch the sunset from your balcony or the restaurant/bar/library.

Volcano safaris depart after lunch and go via the White Grass wild horses to get to the rim of Mt Yasur before sunset and returns by around 8:30 for dinner. There are a number of other excellent day tours from White Grass.
