Welcome to our guest book and feedback from some of our couples. We don’t like to brag (well – we don’t mind that much, but we want to appear humble)… Thanks to everyone who takes time to email us – your feedback helps us with our future guests!
A quick note on the first one – it’s pretty special to us. Lana and Eddie married in Vanuatu in November 2009. They fell in love with Vanuatu and contacted us again in Feb 2010 to arrange a quick trip back with the view of relocating. They did that in May after purchasing the Off-Road Adventure fun buggy business. We finally met in person in August 2010 – lovely, lovely couple! We caught up again in 2011, 2012 and 2014. If you are in Vila and want some off-road adventure, mention Honeymoon Vanuatu for a discount!
Well where do I start?!!! WOW!! What an amazing, perfect wedding and holiday!
Cris, her family and her wonderful staff made our wedding and our stay so special and memorable. Thank you so very much for recommending Cocomo Resort – it suited us in every way. All of the guests who also came and stayed at Cocomo Resort were all also very thrilled with the resort and especially with the friendly service we received! The children just loved the resort and we as parents were very confident in giving them some freedom of not having to be watched like hawks all of the time. The playground situated in the middle of the resort meant we could see the children from our rooms or Nakamal – since they were all out in the playground from the moment the sun rose in the morning sky until it went dark!!!! The lagoon was so safe for the children to play in and with so many things for them to explore and discover.
The staff at Cocomo Resort are absolutely wonderful! If you ask them for any information they get back to you straight away! The smiles, the positive attitudes and the warm family feeling were just fantastic! The resort facilities were also great. The children’s area was brilliant, the pool and Nakamal area was relaxing and inviting and the rooms were also great. Cris and her staff provided friendly and very professional service and we all felt extremely welcome.
The Wedding – well that truly blew us all away!
The setting on the beach by the lagoon was perfect! It was sheltered and quiet and so picturesque! From first light on the wedding morning the staff began to set everything up. There was excitement in the air! I was able to see all of the preparations – like the marquee being set up, the traditional wedding flower arch being beautifully created by hand, all of the preparation for creating our frangipani bouquets and of course all of the decorating of the Nakamal area where we had our reception. They really made a huge effort and it all looked so wonderful. As we had about 25 guests for the wedding they booked the whole Nakamal area out for us that night – it was so private that we really felt like we were on a private island!!! Cris gave Nicole, Lola and myself another room on the resort to get ready in which was greatly appreciated and then I was whisked away with my daughter Lola on a bus over to Villa Chaumieres where we got into the wedding canoe and made our way down the lagoon towards Cocomo Resort. WOW – that was great! Lola and I felt like island princesses arriving like that! Not many people knew we were arriving that way so it was a great surprise!!! Pastor Gideon was fantastic! He made the service entertaining! Basically the party then really started! My family and friends were all getting into the traditional music and dancing and were all dancing on the beach with their shoes off! It was magical to witness this as we were on the other side having our photos taken on the lagoon! After most of the traditional photos were taken we then joined everyone for drinks and dancing and fun!
The reception was wonderful – the seafood buffet was sensational and the service truly 5 star! Eddie, I and all of our guests had such a fantastic time! We danced into the night (in fact I think I started dancing from when I woke up to when I went to bed I was so happy!)
I would highly recommend Cocomo Resort as a gorgeous holiday resort and also as a beautiful wedding location. Everything all fell into place perfectly. I believe my day could not have gone more perfect. Thank you thank you thank you Ian for recommending Cocomo Resort – It was perfect in everyway!!!!
I would also like to thank you Ian and all of your wonderful staff for helping me create such a wonderful wedding and holiday. You made organising the holiday and the wedding easy over the net from Perth. Everything exceeded all of our expectations! Thank you for all of your recommendations in regards to the wedding – I can honestly say it was our dream wedding day. We look forward to returning to Vanuatu one day soon so will be back in touch to use your services again! Please pass on all of our thanks to all of your staff – from the bottom of our hearts – thanks for helping us create such beautiful life long memories.

Hi Ian! We had an absolutely AMAZING time in the beautiful Vanuatu! Sunset Bungalows was just beautiful – we fell in love with the omelette for breakfast. Haha… The kayak was really fun – down the Jungle River… we had Bosco as our travel guide and he was wonderful! Our legs got sunburnt but it was worth it!
Cascade Waterfalls – INCREDIBLE!!! We did a package that included a trip to the Secret Garden, drive through a village and lunch at Mele Cascades. It was soooooooo beautiful and we were so happy we got the opportunity to go! Coongoola Cruise – BEAUTIFUL!!! We did the cruise on Saturday and there were only 4 couples so it was really personal and wonderful snorkelling. Another memorable moment!
So all in all, the honeymoon was absolutely FANTASTIC! We will definitely be returning there some time in the future. All the people were so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for arranging everything for us. It was a memorable holiday and the perfect location

Sorry for the delay in giving you an update on our wedding, but the weeks after our honeymoon were so busy, we couldn’t make it earlier.
We would like to thank you and the team at Honeymoon Vanuatu for this wonderful week in Vanuatu and for the perfect organisation of our wedding. Even the weather was fine on that day.
Also to suggest Sunset Bungalows was perfect. These guys there are great and we hadn’t to care about anything, just enjoying our stay and relax. The food was excellent and the facilities and bungalows were great, too. A big thank you to them as well.

I would like to say a massive thank you for organising our honeymoon at Breakas it was unbelievable. I would recommend it to anyone. Everything was perfect. Our room, the resort and the people. We had the most amazing time and would go back in a heart beat.
We went to the waterfalls which were amazing, did the buggies through Buggy fun rental, so much fun. Horse riding, village tour, Hideaway Island and explored Port Villa.

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for organizing our trip and wedding arrangements. The wedding went perfectly and Jenny and her fabulous staff are just amazing. Once we understood we were on “Vanuatu time” , there was no need to worry about anything. We had such a fabulous time and cannot thank you and your staff, Jenny and the staff at Sunset Bungalows enough. If everyone only made one trip in their lifetime, it should be to Vanuatu and to Sunset Bungalows!!

Leigh and I cant thank you enough for everything that you organised for us to make our wedding the most beautiful day ever. The whole holiday was awesome we loved every minute of it. The wedding day the ceremony at Tamanu was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived out there on the Tuesday to meet Gerry we knew than that you had put us onto the most beautiful place in Vanuatu (well we thought so anyway).
The reception at La Tentation- we would recommend it to anyone. Nick was awesome, he is such a nice guy he was extremely helpful anything we wanted he bent over backwards to make sure we had it. He set the whole wedding reception up for us and it looked amazing – it was everything we have hoped for and more, the food was great and the service outstanding and we weren’t the only ones that thought that nearly every guest at our wedding commented on the great service and staff.
So thanks again for everything – you helped us organise the most perfect wedding day that we had dreamed of for years.

Hi guys,
Eratap was excellent. Even though the weather wasn’t particularly hospitable, we still had an amazing time there. We felt like house-guests. Everyone took the time to learn our names and Tony and Louisa and the entire team there were excellent hosts.
Thank you for arranging our stay at The Havannah. The accommodation there was outstanding and as my sunburn and girth will attest, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Snorkelling and kayaking was brilliant and the staff there were incredibly attentive, there wasn’t a single need, or want, that they couldn’t satisfy.
Everyone we met in Vanuatu was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. It’s an absolutely enchanting place and we hope to go back there for a “proper holiday” one day so we can explore the islands more thoroughly.

Dear Jenny and Ian,
This is just a note to say a VERY BIG THANKYOU for your tireless effort, genuine concern, attention to detail and meticulous planning in our Vanuatu wedding. We had the MOST AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL DAY! It was just perfect… the surroundings, the people, the weather, the relaxed feel……everything went so smoothly… just like a well-oiled machine! Stress free! Mia was terrific as were everyone else on the island…. and so friendly too!
You two are both wonderful co-ordinators of such an adventure… all our friends and relatives were blown away about how we could organise such a thing! And they loved the photos too!. Our mum’s were particularly happy that we were married in the ‘Chapel’, our friends couldn’t believe i had a real wedding dress (although that was a bit stressful… and there were some interesting things that happened on getting it there… like it going through the Xray machine!!!!!), people were amazed with the beauty and that we looked so relaxed and happy!!! All thanks to you guys!!!

Just wanted to say thankyou for making our wedding everything we ever dreamed of. Our entire trip was just wonderful. We have fallen in love with Vanuatu and are already planning our next trip. The effort that you put into planning our holiday made the whole experience so relaxing and unforgettable, for this we will never be able to thank you enough.
Bokissa, was an absolute paradise and we will definitely be going back again, the people there are so friendly, they became like family. The Ni-Vanuatu people are the happiest and friendliest people we have ever met, we just wanted to bring them home with us.
Our Wedding day was beautiful, Connie is so professional and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for her, she put us so much at ease, the day went smoothly. Lunch at Sunset Bungalows was spectacular and our photos have captured the day so perfectly. (I have attached a couple for you to see).
Once again Jenny we thank you very much for everything that you did for us, we will definitely be seeing you in the future to plan another holiday. You are a true professional, who truly loves what you are doing, we have recommended you to all our friends and one is now even reconsidering her wedding after seeing our photos.

Hi Ian & Jenny – thanks for all your help with the holiday – We had an absolute ball. There was so much to do and see we couldn’t fit it all in anyway there is always next time and that’s for sure. Finding it a bit hard to get back into work mode. All Shane talks about is selling up buying up in Van and starting some kind of business venture. Enough to drive me crazy. Anyway have some photos I will send to you when I have got them all together (email of course). Have some great ones of Patricia and Pascal’s lodge. All the kids had a great time and the wedding was great.

We would just like to say a BIG Thankyou for all your help in planning our trip to Vanuatu, we had a fabulous time. The wedding also went well, it was exactly what we had pictured, even the weather behaved itself for the majority of the time! I guess the other bonus to our trip was meeting Ian, it was a real pleasure. Thanks for crashing our wedding and reception! As our trip concluded we were already talking about when will be able to go back again, next time visiting some of the outer islands too. So we should be in touch as soon as our desire to go back to experience the beauties of Vanuatu and its people.

Currently feeling the pinch of a Melbourne Autumn! It’s good to be back but a bit sad to leave as well. The trip was excellent… a fantastic holiday. Thank you for organising it. Some highlights: Sunset Bungalows – very romantic and idyllic, intimate and private – rooms were superb – good opportunity to explore out of town – The restaurant had great food, excellent steak and coconut crab… White Grass Ocean Resort – Fantastic location – Great variety of tours…Iririki Island Resort – lot more commercial style of resort – all the luxuries – very convenient to town – Iririki Pass a must – tour desk very helpful, great range – – b’fasts were amazing – bar meals were pretty good and reasonably priced – had the best cocktails… Mele Cascades – Amazing!! – Natural and unspoilt – well worth the trek… Yasur Volcano – Great Tour – kids from the villages another highlight… Underwater Cave – Tanna – Awesome – snorkelling was excellent… Yunier Kastom Village – Tanna – a good experience… Lelepa Is Tour – full day tour was very enjoyable – good tour guides and great snorkelling… Golf – PV country Club – Fantastic experience, got our own caddies (never had that before) cost the same as hiring a buggy. Front nine has the best views.
As far as eating spots go, prices were comparable to Aussie cafes and restaurants. The food was great. Flaming Bull steakhouse and Sunset had the best steaks…The waterfront had good burgers for lunch and nice meals for dinner. I had the ribs, which were excellent. Rossi’s had excellent service, a nice view back over the water to Iririki and beyond at night. The seafood platter there was HUGE. We’ve got enough cheap grog now to keep us warm down here.
