Chantilly's is one of Vanuatu's newer resorts and offers luxury and service. It's a boutique property with 20 air-conditioned apartments (some studio, some one bedroom), all with balconies looking over the harbour and all with a fine attention to detail.

Qantas Holidays gives Chantilly's 3 and ½ stars and Le Lagon 4 stars. We'd reverse that for honeymooners or those wanting a quiet luxurious break. Casual elegance is the order of the day and the resort has all facilities you would expect - swimming pool, cocktail bar, coffee shop and fine dining.

Nestled on the shores of beautiful Port Vila Harbour it has its own jetty for scuba divers or deep-sea anglers and it's just a five-minute walk to the heart of Vila. The rooms have small touches like a kitchenette and unstocked mini bar so you can stock your own from one of the liquor outlets in town.
