This is a little gem for a couple of night's romantic interlude or a longer stay to simply 'get away from it all'… privacy, walks on the beach, hammock unwinding and fine dining just 25 minutes (15km) from Port Vila. There is a fantastic little restaurant and the resort is set on a white sand beach in five acres of tropical gardens.

The five plantation cottages are built in French Colonial style. All have verandahs angled to the sea, large bedrooms, shuttered windows, garden bathrooms and overhead fans.

The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic and the restaurant is renowned for its excellent local seafood, beef and exotic fruits. Seafood lasagne is one of the chef's specialties.

Even if honeymooners choose not to stay a night or two, it's recommended for a long, leisurely lunch with a driver to drop you off and pick you up (not literally, necessarily).
